Business Signs are constructed from your choice of MDO sign board, aluminum, sintra board, alumilite or lexan panels for lighted signs. For more information on the different types of substrates used for signs click on the different pages above.
Above are samples of sintra board, a very rigid closed cell PVC Board resistent to many chemicals and moisture. Sintra board can easily be cut into shapes, but usually needs to be screwed onto another surface if using for larger signs. Makes a nice hanging sign or panels for a sidewalk sign. Maybe you need an old sign replaced and would like to place this over top of the old sign.
Alumilite is a high gloss .016" aluminum laminated to both sides of a high density corrugated polyethylene core which will not swell, corrode or delaminate. Weather resistant material can be painted or vinyl lettering can be applied.
Coroplast above is mainly used with step stakes for real estate signs, yard sales, advertising products etc. It cannot be painted. Vinyl lettering or screen printing is used on coroplast. Coroplast can be screwed onto a large sign to cover up an old sign, but it will not withstand years of weathering.
Above is an example of the corrugations in the coroplast. The step stakes run up through the coroplast as in the picture on the right.
An Aluminum Panel is shown to the right. They can be purchased with radius corners or straight corners. Certain sizes come in only straight or only radius corners, depending on which size is needed.
Di Bond, pictured below, is a much heavier aluminum faced substrate. 2 sheets of painted .012" aluminum with a thermoplastic polyethylene core. Will not warp or distort.
We cut all our own vinyl, so you can have custom graphics and lettering for your sign.
